Registrar (State Courts) Edwin San
Mr Edwin San was appointed Registrar of the State Courts in 2023. He is currently also a District Judge as well as the President of the Copyright Tribunal.
Mr San served in the Attorney-General’s Chambers as a Deputy Public Prosecutor from 1999 to 2013, and as an Assistant Registrar in the Supreme Court from 2013 to 2016. From 2016 to 2023, he was a Senior Assistant Registrar in the Supreme Court, where he led the Crime Advisory portfolio as well as the Shipping, Intellectual Property and Information Technology Hearing Cluster. He was also involved in the Secretariats for the Disciplinary Tribunal, Professional Conduct Council, and IP Dispute Resolution Framework Committee.
Mr San obtained the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2020, and the Long Service Medal for 25 years of service in 2022.
